So as a reward for not passing out while having blood drawn, I decided to treat myself to chirashi and an Asahi. I stoppod by Sushi Zone in Campbell, and got this amazing bowl of fish. Reward indeed!

Man how I love these things. Last night we dined at Tigelleria and had an amazing meal. Gorgonzola gelatin with poached pears didn’t last long enough to take a picture, nor did the pasta with duck ragu. We were awaiting new plates while staring at the Giuseppe Verde platter, though, so I snapped a quick pic.

Zucchini bread, zucchini cheese bake, and zucchini pie. This is in addition to the previously-made stuffed zucchini and zucchini and onions. And there’s still zucchini left. I feel a bit like Bubba in Forest Gump.

I was drooling over the veggie sandwich I posted about earlier this morning, so I decided to make one since we have so much zucchini to eat. However, I was a bit low on harissa, so I decided to substitute my tomato jam. Not only was it wonderful, but it gave me a great idea for a quick and easy holiday appetizer. I’ll post about that later this week over in the main blog, so stay tuned!
